Food..glorious FOOD

Unhappy? Depressed? ....

When life seems dissappointing ...when things look bleak..

There's one thing that'll bring the light back to my life!
I've been brought up to appreciate good food...it doesn't matter if it means that :

1) I've have to wait 1 hour for a table

2) Sitting at hawker stalls with stray cats and dogs passing by (sometimes they just sit underneath my table..)...or other "unmentionable" rodents that might roam the area (read : SS2, Jonker street...etc)

3) I've to pay exorbitant prices, and be on a waiting list just to try something new 4) I've drive more than an hour to get to the place

Other important factor when appreciating food :

1) Good company....this is really important...the more, the merrier!

2) Good wine....or when we go Chinese, its tea...chinese tea

3) Ambience

4) Service...there's only that much of bad service that I can tolerate

These few weeks, while traveling to and fro in between KL and Seremban, I've tried some really nice food...some "so-so" food...sigh, but in the end, they are still food worthy of mention :

Claypot Pork with Salted Fish...very tasty, but not the very best yet! At Kemayan Square, Seremban - Restaurant Fei Zhai.

Butter Squids/Sotong @ Restaurant Fei Zhai, Seremban

Weekend, back in KL on 1 Dec 2007 :

For Suet's bday, we went for lunch at Jawrod and Rawlin's and I truly thank god for the glorious food.......

Its really obvious that we did tried to be healthy...we' ve included some greens in our food...., and the garlic bread is really GOOD...
NOw...this the the sinful part....no amount of gym is going to burn off those fats...sigh! We have one each for whatever qourmet sausages that they have, streaky bacon, and those yummy pork ribs.....heaven!

For someone who doesn't really fancy cheese, this grilled mushroom with cheese are really good.....
And we have a few selection of cakes to end the lunch party.....but the cakes wasn't that nice though!

And to be able to start your day with a really hearty breakfast..... :
This is the American Breakfast at a bakery (De Pastry Chef) , located in my neighbourhood......

Illy coffee at Pizza Uno.....a really nice perk-me-up in the morning

The real big breakfast ( @ Pizza Uno) ...whooa!! haahah...my fav so far with turkey ham, sausage, mushroom, grilled tomato, sunny side up and baked beans. It comes with your choice of juices and coffee too.

Another of our favourite Bak Kut Teh place in Klang (Teluk Pulai) :

Very tasty soup...this is the Klang variant of bakuteh...not much of those chinese herbs taste, with slightly thicker gravy

Braised Chicken feet....
My plate of wonder...this will keep me full until dinner...
