Today's special :
Met up with Shane for lunch today and we decided that we shall have lunch at Food Foundry. We've a Carbonara fettucine....a sauteed button mushroom tapas...and ..listen : we shared this for lunch! With the tendency of over-ordering, I'm quite amazed at our self control...haha!
Sad to say, again we are so hungry that we've gobbled down the food while the camera is still stuffed inside my handbag...sigh!
But I managed to snap a photo of the famous mille crepe cake which Food Foundry called " a slice of heaven".
Made from layers of thin crepe (pancake base), whereby it was sandwiched with custard cream...yummy. I've asked for the Orange Chocolate flavoured Mille Crepe, since I don't really fancy the taste of milk. The original flavour and the most popular one - Vanilla, is way too milky for my liking
Shane was telling me about the Choc Brownies she had in Delicious, so I thought we shall try the chocholate brownie with walnut here...very fudgy...
As usual, service is of substandard....especially during lunch hour. The tapas came way after we've finished our pasta...and we had to remind them twice before they bring the tapas over. Anyway, we usually go to Food Foundry for the Mille Crepe only....not really for the service or any of its other offerings on the menu...
Am really interested in trying the Mille Crepe that a colleague of mine recommended...but its in Malacca. After much research, I found out the the shop is called Nadeje Patisserie...location wise..I'm not really sure.
