For my own birthday....hahaha..its like a month long celebration....thanks to all my buddies.
4th July 2008 - from the Musketeers. We dated way back...since Form One.
Dinner at Mizu with the Musketeers. There's no picture of food...once again. Mainly because none of the food look appetizing...and I'll prefer Kampachi/Rakuzen/Hajime anytime. However, one thing that's worth mentioning is their Assorted Sashimi dish......really fresh and tasty. They have my favourite "butter fish" and they gave the fatty cut....slurp...
Thank god, for the great company, nice ambience and pretty good service. Otherwise, I don't think the meal is worth the RM350++ that the girls had paid.
6th/7th JUly 2008 - Fun! Fun! Fun! @ A Famosa
These are pictures of us in "proper" behavior...for the morning fun.... :

I'm still waiting to get hold of the "night time fun" pictures....
The BBQ dinner :

A picture of all the July babies...yeah, not very flattering...coz we are all wet and grubby (all of us got dunked into the pool earlier on).
The next day :
On our way home, we dropped by Seremban to have lunch....and here are some photos of the dishes before we gobbled them up..

8 July 2008 - D-day!
After all staying out in the sun and getting wet in the water....I fell sick on my bday itself. Fever and sore throat......so it was an uneventful drowsy day. No pics for all the meals taken though...
1) Lunch with Dad n Uncle Leong (after running some errands with dad)
We had lunch at Greenview Restaurant, PJ SS2. Ordered a Cantonese Fried Kuey Teow with ginger slices and Siakap fish. Ordered another frog legs steamed with minced ginger.....recommended by an uncle working there. Really good.... to go together with a pot of Pu Er tea.
The thing with Greenview Restaurant...people always complain that its expensive. But when u look at the portion and the quality of food that they serve....I really think its money well spent. I've ate at their restaurant since I was 7 years old and never once, I was disappointed with the food! The only regret is that the pounds that piled up over the years......from eating from this place...hahaa.
My recommendation when visiting Greenview Restaurant :
1) Beggar Chicken (the owner, Uncle Tan has since changed it to Prosperous Chicken/Herbal Chicken)
2) Dried Butter Prawn (i love the shredded egg bits ...)
3) Homemade Taufu
4) Butter Crab or Salted Baked Crab or Dried Butter Crab
5) Their signature dish is Sang Mee with Freshwater Prawns......not my personal fav, coz I find it too heavy
2) Dinner at Fullwealth Restaurant (Kepong Baru)
Another old restaurant. We used to eat here all the time...for Mother's and Father's day, Grandma's bday, anyone's bday for that matter......
Reasonable pricing...good food....but over the years, the standard has dropped.
They used to have this bacon wrap, with condiments inside. Drizzled with savoury mayo...but apparently they don't make it anymore. The dish that we always order is the Roast Chicken. The skin is crispy, and the meat inside is tender and juicy...even the chicken breast part taste good.
Not much to shout about. But for a simple family dinner, its an alright place to go.
So, i ended up really full, a tad bit disappointed coz they don't cook the bacon wrap thing anymore......
9th July 2008
Finished meeting with my client @ Glenmarie around 7pm. As the traffic is pretty clear and I'm around NKVE/Bandar Utama....I decided to call Shane (one of the Musketeers) for dinner. She's like my Korean food buddy...LOL.....
Our usual haunt for Korean food is Doarae @ Kota Damansara. The service there is always impeccable and Purna, the captain there know us by name (mainly due to our silliness and noise that we made everytime we visit the place).
Our dinner (very modest compare to our usual fare):
In the mood for celebration......though we are not sure what's there to celebrate (heheh...excuse to drink lar), we ordered a bottle of shoju on impulse....for just RM20++, we had a fun time gulping down shoju !!! We are short of shouting "ganbei" out loud!!! These two "chin-gus" are notoriously uncivilised (or we called it "sakai" in the local context).
10th July 2008
The double cuff shirt that Peggy bought me, had sleeves that are too long for me. Maybe people in the UK has longer hands???
Manage to reach home before 8pm...had dinner at home. And I decided to bring Peg's shirt to this tailor in Waterfront@Desa Park City. And by co-incidence, I bumped into Adam (a friend of James). Yeah...so another bday wish from another good friend. Now, we are a gang of people who thrive on spontaniety...and while walking around the building, we spotted a sign saying "The Healing Touch , your ultimate experience for total relaxation".
I wish i had my camera with me...LoL. The mischief and knowing look on our face....whaahhahaah....we rush right into the shop and demanded for a 45-mins sesssion of foot reflexology....and while browsing thru the menu, we top it up with Back/Shoulder and Head Massage.
A lovely way to end the day....I went home feeling light and refreshed. Adam say he feels like skipping to his car, but there's too much onlooker around ....hehehe. Thank you Adam for the massage treat...its lovely...MUAKS!
11 July 2008
The Sunway team had organise a Karaoke Bday Bash at the Red Box in Sunway Pyramid. Its a drag to drive from Jln Raja Chulan, brave through Friday's traffice to be there......but the 2 hr traffic jam was worth it!
will post more about this....when I've gotten pictures from Chloe/JS.
I just want to extend my thanks to JS, for booking the place and managing the guest lists, Carol and Shane who went and buy me a cake, Siong Sie who smuggle in a bottle of Macallan (coz I specifically mentioned that I'm no Johnny Walker/Jack Daniels fan...taste like whiskey +cockroach ...hehehe...it just my personal opinion lar...).
And I'm really touched that the associates (new and old) came too....
My Sunway Marketing associates , Katherine and Nicholas Tang, and others like Thisha, and Wee Kee and Jacky (both had since moved up to be Senior).
The new associates , Chloe, Su Huey and Thomas, Kathleen...........Gerald.
And of course, to the reigning bunch of seniors : Shane, Carol, Elaine, Nicholas Ling n GF, Siong Sie...and JS.
A very tiring.....but lovely night!
