Located at First Floor (One Utama New Wing), somewhere outside Forever 21, is a new Chocolate haunt for chocoholics!!! If only my senior from EY , Phick Suan is around, I think she'll be a VIP customer over here!!!
Honestly, I'm not a die-hard fan of chocolate, but I do like to indulge in this sinful dessert once in a while, especially when I'm feeling depressed.
Anyway, visiting Theobrama Choc Lounge was out of a whim.....was not too hungry, but feel like having something to snack....so I popped over to have some hot chocolate.
(I'm actually hoping to find something like the hazelnut hot choc I had in Canberra while visiting Shane a few years back, but ...i guessed, they just don't make the hot choc like that in Malaysia - even though, Theobrama is supposedly to be from Australia!)
(My cuppa of hot chocolate - I think its called Coco Mocha. This is their regular serving....you can opt for the keep warm mug, with a tealight candle underneath the mug.....)
Its a pity that they don't serve the hot chocolate with marshmallow.......sigh.
The hot chocolate....was really rich...and sweet. In fact, I think I was gagging from the richness and sweetness......that I actually rushed to the filtered water dispenser that they stationed near the cashier, for a few cups of water. I think the hot chocolate will be better off....if you are dipping it with some strawberries, or...maybe those bread with cake texture - (with vanilla flavour, maybe??)
(Belgian Waffle with Strawberry and generous drizzle of chocolate sauce)
No complains about the waffle....though, you can really douse the waffle with your hot chocolate...coz the choc sauce came out bland, in comparison to the hot chocolate. Plus....if it comes with toasted almond flakes.....that'll make it REALLY yummy!!
You must have noticed by now.....my so-called snack..has become quite heavy indeed. The hot chocolate itself is very filling....but I'm glad I ordered the waffle, which I sorta dipped into the hot choc.....ignoring the stares of the waiters and other customers. Well, I paid for it, and I shall eat it the way I like it..... :P STARE ALL U WANT!!! Hmph.....
Anyhow, this so-called snack attack, set me back by Rm24.80 (RM14.90 for the waffle, and RM9.90 for the Hot Choc ), and they are not charging service charge and govt. tax yet!
