Quiet nights and quiet stars.......

Its 9pm...
I'm stuck at One Utama.
A quick call back home, confirmed that there's no food left at home.......

What's there to eat??? Well....I walked pass Coffee Bean and Dave's ......and I saw a new eatery called Pasta Zanmai. The deco looks very Jap, and infact, there is a Japanese mini market right in front of the restaurant.....hehe...food looks quite interesting....so..so...so.....?
5 seconds later, I was ushered in and I'm already scanning through the menu....
Something tells me that this is under the same umbrella as Rakuzen's chain of eateries....just like the newly opened Sushi Zanmai in One Utama New Wing. I even find my favourite Grilled Hotate (Scallop) with Spicy Roe and Mayonaise.

---INTERIOR of PASTA ZANMAI----

Since I'm eating alone.....I can only order 1 main and a drink :

1) I supposed Watermelon Juice without sugar is not too fattening??? The rest of the drinks look really nice....but I think they'll be loaded with sugar. And I don't feel like having a murky green tea ....

2) While waiting for my meal to arrive.......I played with the camera ...

3) And finally....my meal arrived. I've settled with Chicken Katsu Don...Yeah, I know..its not very original...but I'm craving for something spicy, after listening to Din (my colleague gushing about some yummy spicy Ayam penyet in Sunway Mentari...). And i supposed its weird not ordering Pasta when u are in an eatery called Pasta Zanmai?? Well...so be it...call me WEIRD....

----Trying different mode available on my sister's Ixus. Sigh...I have to admit, the quality is better than my now kaput-ed Olympus...---

All in all..the dinner cost me RM32.20 (something Mom will complained as overpriced), considering the portion and the ambience.....its alright. I'm happy with my meal...though it will not have gone to waste if I have someone to share it with. The bowl was freaking 8 inch wide.....so u can imagine how big the portion is. I feel guilty for leaving the rice untouched with people in Si Chuan and Myanmar starving...and here I am wasting food. But I seriously can't afford to eat anymore........trust me, its not easy to refuse the rice. Its the nice lil fat round Japanese rice....(I don't think its the same arborio rice the Italians use to make risotto)....but its really soft and fluffy...and it kinda cute too!!

Sigh....but my fat quota is already max-ed out.....forgive me, peeps ! For wasting those rice and chicken cutlets....

--2 hrs later, I'm still nursing a over-stuffed tummy....muttering to myself "I shall refrain from eating...I shall refrain from eating....I shall refrain from OVER EATING....."--
