Chinese New Year 2011

Its been 2 years since I've celebrated Chinese New Year in Kuala Lumpur with my family.
The past 2 years, my Chinese New Year were merely mediocre compared to the festivity and spirit in Malaysia, but thanks to some Malaysian friends, we make do with whatever we have to make Chinese New Year counts, even though we are all away from home, residing in small little Adelaide.

So..now I'm back home, with my family...and Chinese New Year is less than 24 hours away....the festive "feel" seems to be quite far far away...

Is it because of the family drama...grandma sick and all the accompanying dramas that come with it, or is it because I've grown up and couldn't see the "fun" in Chinese New Year anymore ?

Its so tiring....but hey, who knows...maybe tomorrow will be a better day, and the Chinese New Year bug will bite ?

One can only hope that the coming year, will be better than before!
