Christmas breakfast??
Sigh...every time i had drinks (those suitable for over 21), I have this thing of feeling extra alert and energetic the next morning, even though I'm tired to the core!! No one can understand why I can stayed up until 3-4am the night before, and wake up at 9am the next day to go brekkie with my parents, or if not...I'll just feel like running, jumping...just need to do something, before i crash out in the afternoon for the longest nap ever!
(i think coz alcohol contain calories, and when u drink, ur senses sorta slowed down rite...then u move slower, u just...become slow la...then u dun use tat much energy, and it got stored in ur body, but then alcohol makes ur heart pump faster wor...so there's this "contained" energy in u...so next day feel energetic????? IS that it???......you guys shud be glad that i didn't decide to be a doctor...else, imagine what kind of medical advice i'll be dishing out..)
Anyway, after the incredibly funny and happy X'mas eve party, had prior appointment with Uncle No.3 for brekky...and he had pre-ordered bakuteh for us....yummy!! SO yea...have to wake up man!! Kakakakak....you wouldn't want to miss nutritious breakfast like BKT rite????
So peeps...just drool...and drool over these....its divine.....give me the energy to shop in a crowded One Utama until 7pm....so I literally skipped my required nap...
I pray that the pictures did the Bakuteh justice.......tried my best to get nice shots...before all the hungry family members attack the pots of bakuteh...
Those who feels like trying out this place...its located at KIP Industrial Park...a hidden gem. The trick is...must ask the boss to cook...cannot have the wife/daughter to cook la....so, best thing is to pre-order.
The above are what we call freshly prepared BKT, in Chinese...its called Sang Kuat (Sang = Raw, Kuat = Ribs/Bones)...where they cooked the meat and soup together and hence, you get extra tasty soup...and the soup is clear, and not as oily as the normal Bakuthe ("BKT").
They do other type of BKT too...
1) Klang Bakuteh
2) Dry Bakuteh
3) Ginseng Bakuteh
4) Bittergourd Bakuteh - this is actually quite good...if you are not put-off by the mention of Bittergourd.
Bring a nice Pu Er tea....and you'll be good.....
If anyone is interested to try this out, lemme know...I'll get the contact no. and address of the place from Uncle No.3.......
