Gods know I hate exercise (except for swimming)…
My family knows that, my BFFs know that….me? Of course I know I hate exercise. Not that I don’t know the benefits of exercising. In fact, I quite enjoy the benefits, as it takes out the sluggishness in my system, and it was supposed to burn some of the many calories that I had digested…
So, now begins my affair with exercise…..
I made my new year resolutions, one of them was to lose weight and stay healthy. I’m beginning to hate gym….not that the gym is bad or anything, I appreciate their effort to keep it interesting by installing TVs so that my jog on the cross trainer is more entertaining. But the after gym part that’s tiresome. Unpacking the dirty gym stuff and washing it……then repack for the next day. Ugh…so much inconvenience, for that 1-2 hours in gym….
So, I’ve begin to jog around the neighbourhood where I’m staying here. Started on Thursday, by forcing myself to walk from Parkside to Unley (according to Google Maps, the route I’ve taken is as far as 3km), to buy some roast chicken from Woolies. I supposed, working out to get dinner, make sense…I burn some calories, before i eat it!
Today, I dragged myself off the bed at 9.15am, get dressed and head out for a jog. Not that far, just a short jog around Parkside….as I don’t want to get out on the main road, where there’s lesser trees. I chose my route by picking the shadier streets….heheh…lasted for about 30-40 minutes, climbed 3 flight of stairs up to my apartment and ….
I’m all ready for breakfast……except, I don’t need to unpack my gym bag, I just need to shower and be ready to go!!!!

Weight loss so far : Zero
Happiness level : Feel refreshed, not sluggish
