Justice to Taiwan Trip..

I think I've totally neglected the need to blog about Taipei. My one trip with Shane alone...hahaha...lately, out of the 4 musketeers, its seems to be just me and Shane. Suet in the bliss world of couplehood, Sarah - busy with a lot of things, so its just me and Shane. Highlight of Taiwan trip :

1) FOOD

Hawker fare...

A localised MOS Burger, a fast food chain franchise from Japan...I miss this!!

Err....Curry Pork Chop rice...in a Taiwanese Curry House...tasted more like a lemongrass infused black pepper sauce

tien-bu-lar (Sweet, but not spicy?) ---assortment of food, including clotted pig's blood (the black stuff), sausages, beancurd sheets, radishes & fishball , with a sweet sauce, with a slight tang of spiciness.

I totally love this....some sort of croquet made from yam paste, with shredded chicken floss and salted egg yolk....A bite of this fluffy devil....felt like heaven. Ok..I'm exaggerating, but its really good (MH goes wide eyed with 100% earnesty in her)

Bouncy fishballs from the historical town of Jiu Fen...

Nice tea...i forgot what kind of tie kuan yin (a type of Oolong tea).

Chewy yam bits...sweet and chewy..with Tau Fu Fah.....in a sweet gingerish soup...

HHAHAha...I found it!! A juicy photo of the MOS burger....OOOohhh..I so miss MOS burger. I wonder how much it'll cost to get the franchise license in Malaysia....sigh...another piece of heaven in Taipei that I can't bring home!

This is some sort of Sharksfin Dumpling with soup. I'm not sure if the dumpling was supposed to be all...err...shattered? The dumpling skin are in pieces...and the fillings are all over the soup. So , its more like sharksfin soup with dumpling skin....
